YOUR TURN · 10 MINUTES

Make a map someone can use

Paper and colored pencils.

  1. Choose one room or a small imaginary garden to map.
  2. Draw its main features as if you were looking down from above.
  3. Invent a key with symbols for three things on your map.
  4. Ask someone to follow a route using your map. Improve any confusing parts.
Let’s wonder

How could you check whether someone’s directions are accurate?
